Carolina Blue Cigar (Habano)
Without knowing anything in advance my thought upon first light, I am smoking an expensive cigar. The taste is slightly sweet, but full flavor, not hot and was easy to light.
There is a lot going on as the cigar continues to burn and I mean flavors, it’s hard for me to figure out, but I know there must be many blends of tobacco in this cigar.
Let’s see what’s in here:
Notes: Smooth, triple Cap Razor Burn Lines. Notes of Spice Cedar, mild pepper and mild Nuttiness.
Wrapper: Habano 2000
- Filler: Criollo 98, Piloto Cubano and Nicaragua
- Binder: Sumatra (Ecuadorian)
- Goes great with some dark Rum and aged Bourbon
I have also noticed that this cigar is not messy at all, burns clean and the ash is holding and not flaking off as many others do that leave my desk in a mess.
I also took note that after leaving it for a few minutes to go get a cocktail that it was still burning so no need to relight. That’s good, right?

The Habano line is a real treat; a great cigar for newbies and seasoned cigar smokers alike. This Carolina Blue brand is comprised of a trio of blends,
Carolina Blue Cigar is indeed better than perceived in the package wrap, as soon as you hold this cigar you will know it is quality and it is.
It was an enjoyable smoke, and it gave me plenty of time to enjoy it, so I’m sure it would pair well with a round of golf.
